About Me
Hey everybody,
I’d first like to apologize for any typos I might have… I must confess I’m German (I know - nobody’s perfect) and even though I have lived in the UK, mistakes do still happen from time to time.
I am probably about 65% introvert and 35% extrovert - meaning the spotlight is not my friend but I still like to meet people and hang out.
I love organising and planning. I'm trying to become more spontaneous but it's so hard: one of my biggest flaws is that I tend to overthink EVERYTHING!
I love travelling and getting to know different cultures and people. In my experience, couchsurfing is an amazing way to do just that.
I do really hope I'll get the chance to meet you, and I promise that I will be completely respectful towards you and your space!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would like to meet new people and learn more about different cultures. I always appreciate hearing different opinions or perspectives and as a result maybe look at things a different way. I also think that, as a tourist, you often only see one side of the place you're visiting and hanging out with locals really opens your eyes and allows you to get to know your destination. So far, especially when travelling by myself, I generally had the most fun and learned the most when when I got to spent time with the "host" and I was shown all the secret spots and "insight" places.
I know I don't have any references yet, but I have couchsurfed before! However, all of those stays we organised from my friends' accounts so here is me now...reference-less ( I just made that word up, didn't I?)
Interests
I thought I would throw some keywords that would describe my interests:
Travel, animal welfare & wildlife conservation, positivity, music, sports, books, tv-shows, staying in (but also going out here and then), simplicity, respect, down to earth, humour/laughing, awareness
- animals
- books
- tv
- travel
- nature
- laughing
- harry potter
Music, Movies, and Books
To be honest, I pretty much listen to, watch and read everything (apart from heavy metal maybe). I find it quite difficult to just name one artist or film/book name.
I do love Harry Potter though... if you can't tell me your house on the spot, what have you been doing all your life? ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Doing a one year trip around the world. This was also the first time I got to introduced to the couchsurfing community.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have to admit, I really don't know what to write here. I could teach you some German? We could cook/bake together?
What I Can Share with Hosts
