Overview
About Me
I'm a Berlin kid and proud Yorkshire lad.
I'm running a marketplace for used motorcycle parts to help family businesses, and to make it more viable to buy used parts instead of new ones. I am trying to use the IT skills I happen to have to do something a bit more valuable.
I try to do the things I'm afraid of and am constantly looking for challenges. I'm minimalist and autonomous.
I'm try to make few plans and to be open for anything. People call me spontaneous and adventurous, which I think are just their euphemisms.
I sympathize with quite a few ideas and projects from the political left. I think I'm post-privacy; love anything and -one queer; am opposed to religions requiring faith, but happy to discuss. I rarely eat dead things. I can enjoy both being by myself in the mountains, and never-ending all-out party marathons.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I met some great people on here, and made friends for life.
Interests
I'm a passionate biker and just generally a petrol head, so quite happy to babble about motorcycles and cars.
I like fixing things, because it requires learning and systematic thinking.
I can be quite nerdy, with a spotlight on change through open source and commons.
Recently, I've been reading a lot about Buddhism and Meditation at cross-roads with modern science. I practice yoga regularly.
