About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to find a way to combine political science studies with music studies.
ABOUT ME
I'm Colombian, and I studied political sciences and international relations in Paris at Sciences Po Paris. My studies have taken me to France and Brazil, and I have really enjoyed having the chance to travel for my studies. Maybe that's why I'm such a fan of couchsurfing!
However music is my personal passion and my main focus point. I'm currently doing a 1 year music performance program in Pasadena California! My main instrument is the guitar, but I love playing bass as well and I really enjoy percussion, specially Brazilian percussion :D.
I'm not what you would call an athletic kind of guy, but I do like some sports like swimming, rock climbing, bike riding and football.
PHILOSOPHY
Keep your feet on the ground, and live life in the present.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been a member for a few years now. I'm always open to meet and help other surfers who happen to pass by the city I live in. I'm not able to recieve other surfers since I've only just arrived and it's all pretty disorganized. However I'm always available for a cup of coffee!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only surfed a few times, but I'm a really big fan of the community. Thanks to couchsurfing I got to meet some great people in Brazil during my exchange program in 2009, who showed me around the city and introduced to some other awesome couch surfing members who ultimately became very good friends of mine.
Interests
Mainly anything that has anything to do with music. Even though I'm a guitarist, I love playing all sorts of stringed musical instruments.
Politics and international relations are also my thing. I kinda have a thing for international law haha.

Music, Movies, and Books
Regarding music, anything from vallenato to death metal, going through prog rock, electronic music, brazilian, classical, and all the different sorts of jazz.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Definitely one of the most amazing things I've ever seen was the "carnaval" at Recife, in Brazil in 2011. That has to be one of the greatest experiences I've had. Then there's the trip we made with a friend to Salamanca Spain, hitchhiking from France. It was also pretty great to travel and chat with the locals, as well getting to see the beautiful Spanish landscapes from such a close perspective.
