Nevada-born. New Zealand-based. Can be found scribbling in my notebook, on my yoga mat, eating vegetarian food, drinking good beer and, on occasion, dancing the night away.

In a couple weeks time, I'm escaping New Zealand winter and hitting the West Coast of the States to see more of my motherland (and to go to Burning Man, hit up yoga studios, learn how to surf, and fill up on giant burritos) with my chipper Scottish friend Cat.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While I am not a regular surfer, I credit couchsurfing for some of my best wanderlust memories. Couchsurfing has introduced me to some of most loving, friendly and generous people. It's also allowed me to see new places (and eat new things) in ways that would have otherwise been impossible had I stayed in hotels or guesthouses.

Unfortunately, I'm flatting so I don't have the space to host visitors. However, if you're here in Wellington, I'd love to show you around or give recommendations. This city has food/coffee/craft beers to die for!
