My name is Mailys, I m 25 years old. I used to study philosophy at Sorbonne IV, ( Paris ) and I'm now deeply into music studies.
Now that I've chosen to be mainly free for music I've start to learn playing bass, and Im also composing my own songs, using mainly voicy noises cause I'm also beatboxing (here is some old example of my personal work : http://soundcloud.com/mailys-mallet/ ). My compositions are inspired by bossa nova and new wave spirit as well as by trip hop and reggae atmosphere.

So I m ready to confront myself to NYC. I might stay more longer in NYC if I obtain a stable place to live, a green card and a job, but at the beginnning I m gonna try to find out the musical world I'm made for...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

First of all, I love meeting native people : they know where true stuffs are, and don't send you on touristic dumby attractions... by the way, I am ready to operate some exchange : I got a tiny arty flat in Paris 75018, close to the Canal St Martin...

cook for you ( I particularly love to cook organic and world food ) (just dont know to cook pastries but I can learn with you),
