ABOUT ME

Sometimes I like to be alone, sometimes I like being social. I love life because I think it is magical. I don't know if I am supposed to list a lot of things here... Maybe you can read some comments by my CS friends to get a better idea about how others percieve me.

I just moved to Cologne in October and I like the city a lot! Don't know many people here yet, but I hope that changes soon :)

PHILOSOPHY

As corny as it sounds, I do think everything in life happens for a reason. Had ups and downs like everyone, but for sometime now I feel happy and in peace. We're all part of life and should not waste our energies on negativity. Life is beautiful. Live in the moment because that's all there is.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I always enjoy meeting new people. I never hosted because the city where i lived until recently is not exactly a tourist destination. But I am looking forward to making some hosting experiences now here in Cologne!
I've been hosted by many wonderfull people, it has always been a pleasure.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been a member in Hospitalityclub for longer than Couchsurfing, so that is where I made most of my experiences. But the general idea is the same, and I am so gratefull to all the people who I have been fortunate to meet through both CS and HC. Been hosted all over Europe, in Japan and the U.S.A.! Love to all of my former hosts. They have showed me how helpfull people can be and I will never forget that.

Music, Movies, and Books

That's a tough one, I could list too much.
Been reading a lot on spirituality lately, Eckhart Tolle, Deepak Chopra, Ram Dass... But I enjoyed a lot of novels in my life as well.

Music: mostly alternative, independent, singer/songwriter, but also jazz, folk. Almost anything I think, so show me your local music! :)

Movies... I am not an expert but i do enjoy good movies. I love all Wes Anderson movies such as the Darjeeling Limited and the Royal Tenenbaums. I also like Little Miss Sunshine, Into the Wild, Magnolia, Edward Scissorhands, Amelie, Ghost World, Big Fish, etc.

And I got to admit, thanks to the internet I got hooked on way too many TV shows! Six Feet Under, Dexter, Mad Men, True Blood, Nurse Jackie, Californication, Scrubs, Weeds...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveling through Europe alone by train as a 17 year old girl.

In the age of 18 I made a big Japan trip all by myself wich has been the most amazing time of my life.

I made a bungee jump when i was 15. that is special too i guess?

And let's not forget: Spending 6 months in India by myself (not really, I made friends there!).
