About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Looking for a place to call "home"

ABOUT ME

I am eager to experience anything new and different from what I know.
Totally open for experiences and experiments :)
I love to meet and talk with new people with passion in their hearts.
I also love to cook, eat, paint, hike, rock climb chat, and learn languages and science.
I always become excited like a little kid when I learn chemical interaction going in nature (YES, I'm a geek).
The world looks totally different and much more fascinating after knowing the sensitive and amazingly organized systems!

PHILOSOPHY

We never know what it is like until we actually experience it.
Stay positive and smile as often as you can, then good things will come.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Exchanging knowledge, point of view, experience with people all over the world. I try to use CS as much as I can when I travel, and when I have my couch available, I want to host as many people as I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted several couch surfers and stayed several nights as a couch surfer myself in the summer 2009. In the spring of 2010, I couch surfed through Germany. I was surprised and amazed how generous and caring people can be toward people they do not know well. I met so many unique and interesting people who helped me to get around, and I want to do the same thing to people who come along to my place. Although my couch is not available at the moment, I would love to show people around and recommend good places to visit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hitch hiking from Dieppe to Lille in France soon after the Christmas at night. All my travel options got interrupted because of extreme weather but people were AMAZINGLY nice and gave me a ride despite my mostly non-existent French language.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am happy to teach Japanese language and culture.
I can also share what I know about certain health conditions, biochemistry involved and how we may be able to analyze it for better future.
If you know German and/or Spanish, please teach me!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I grew up in a restaurant so cooking and eating with somebody else is always a joy and necessary part of my life. I also enjoy good beer and conversation.
Let's share good food, drink and enlightening conversations.
