About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Connect with people, simply that.

ABOUT ME

To be brief. I have always thought of myself as adventurous, it hasn't been until recently that I have actually been experiencing myself as adventurous.
The basics:
I'm easy to talk to and almost always interested in conversation. I am easy going, sarcastic in an unhostile way, and love being social but appreciate the time by myself as well. I am very interested in people in general.
Things that I do that most people probably haven't.
Played Rugby for 4 years.
I beat box.
Built a website that was kind of like an online comic, only the frames were real-life pictures. I had a new "comic" every week for nearly two years.
Did a presentation in front of members of the FED for a a college competition.
I learned how to snowboard a few years ago, haven't done it since but have been meaning to.
Went to Scotland for 3 weeks, took one of my professors out for her birthday while in Scotland. It's a fun/interesting experience to drink with your professor.

PHILOSOPHY

Good question. I do my best to live my life the way I imagined it. Recently that has become more possible than ever. I am a recent college graduate and will soon have the opportunity to travel for work. I hope to meet some nice and interesting people along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have always been participating in CS2 even before it existed. Offering my couch to friends, family, whenever needed or even when not. Couch surfing is a favorite past-time of mine being the surfer or the host.

Interests

I've been playing guitar for awhile now. I used to frequent open mics in my hometown. Travel. Learning. Adventures. Books, movies. I am a young professional from 9-5, outside of that I am just young.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading when I find a book/author I like. That is few and far between unfortunately. I like chuck Palhanuik, James Patterson, Ken Follet. I also still enjoy the books from high school, especially The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been to Scotland, talked with the locals in York and Edinburgh. Spent a day in London, which is like someone giving you the first lick of an ice cream cone and then telling you "you can't have anymore." But I suppose the taste was worth it, I'd like to go back someday.

If you're ever in Scotland/London ask them when rave/techno music started becoming popular. If they like the music, they'll likely have some interesting personal stories about how they found it and began to love it. And also ask them about dancing. The way American's dance is very sexual compared to the U.K. They do not seem to mind if a pub is filled with dudes, they will still get on the dance floor and dance. Very interesting.

Teach, Learn, Share

As far as major things.. I was born and raised Catholic, and like a lot of people in my generation who were raised Catholic, am starting to question everything there is about religion. I still hold a lot of Christian morals though.

I have been working with computers for about 5 years now. I have an extensive education in economics.
There is a lot I would like to learn about, namely everything.
