Born to travel ;)

I am an enthusiastic person who lived in the Netherlands for a while. I also love movies and books. I have learned a lot with fiction and trips. By living with a Dutch family and making friends from different nationalities, I deeply understood that the world is formed by a variation of cultures sharing a common core and that this diversity can provide stimulation to exploration, and, then to creativeness. I believe that arts and trips have the same ambiguity which is; they decrease distance, but they also make the world wider .

I appreciate to listen to people talking about their culture and countries. Travelling is fun and important for me, because from the small details of the trip, like the carpet floor under my foot, to the big ones, the weather and the language spoken, everything is thought-provoking. Being opened to the variety of the world enriches my life.

Besides travelling and fiction, I adore cooking together and sharing meals. I love the lazy moment after eating in which everybody keeps sitting together and chatting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because there is still a lot of life to discover and it would be super nice to learn it from you while having fun moments.

Interests

I do love languages. I always feel like learning a bit of the language of the country I am visiting.
I am super happy when a native understands my poor Dutch.
