Easygoing environmentalist and world traveller, in love with the world and its cultures.

I'm a Brazilian environmental researcher who travels when I'm not researching (although some friends say it's the other way around, a traveller that does research in his spare time).

I have lived in South America, North America and Europe, with shorter stays of some months also in North Africa and South/Southeast Asia. Now I'm an undying world-citizen that feels best when I'm trodding the world :-)

I think a place on the map acquires much more meaning after you've met people from there.

Cultures, nature, world history, and I'm very social as well, I love meeting new people.

I also love reading, I'm a cinema-lover, and I'm a big foodie, too. Good (not to be mistaken with "sophisticated"!) food can melt me so much that I ended up writing my Master's thesis about it after moving abroad. (I'm a vegetarian who occasionally eats seafood, but very easygoing and always keen to try something new.)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I have a very eclectic taste when it comes to music & movies, provided it's got some nice melody or story. In general I like discovering what's done in different languages/countries and that usually doesn't get abroad.

When it comes to books, my favourite I think is A Hundred Years of Solitude. I read a lot of non-fiction/history to learn more about various parts of the world too, though.
