About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live Learn Laugh and be Happy

ABOUT ME

Well, I'm a free spirit. I enjoy loads of different things, active or relaxing. But most of all, I enjoy the company and special fun times with my friends.
I enjoy the good things in life! Life's too short to not enjoy yourself. I believe I am a very open-minded person, with a down to earth nature. I'm easy going, and chilled out but also I liked to be well organised. I'm an extremely considerate person, and I would like to think I'm a bit funny at times.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe whats goes around comes around, and am a huge believer of treating others how you would want to be treated.
Personally I try and do my best to do my bit to save the WORLD. I believe if everyone did the same, the world would be a better place, but each to their own.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by being an avid couchsurfer plus recommending good people to join couchsurfing. I recommended a very good friend a few years back, he's since hosted over 300 people at his home on the Gold Coast in Australia. Now he's the ambassador for the Surfers Paradise. At present I dont have the right setup for hosting - but am very happy to meet up for a drink or two and give you some tips not only on where i'm living now but many places in Oz as I've all over - I'm a bit of a nomad.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed at some amazing places, no bad experiences to report. You can tell alot from reading peoples profiles!! Couchsurfing/hosting is the BEST! A stranger is only a friend you haven't met yet.

Interests

One of my biggest interests is MUSIC, all sorts really, as long as its talent, although I'm not really into Death Metal or Country & Western. I try and keep up to date with whats going on in the way of new acts, although, its very difficult whilst travelling. I'm also big on supporting new and upcoming acts, which means buying their work, not downloading like everything else these days.
I also enjoy swimming, fishing, volleyball, reading, shopping, movies, hanging out with my buds and sharing lots of laughs - thats the key!!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Into the Wild, Internal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind, True Romance, Juno, The island, Slumdog Millonaire, Memoirs of a Geisha, Lost in Translation, Pulp Fiction, Avatar, What about Bob, Seven, Gran Torino, Sommersault, Two Hands, The Castle, Benjamin Button, LOTR, The Green Mile, Ferris Bueller's day off, The Piano, Finding Neverland, No country for old men, Pretty in Pink and The Breakfast Club and loads more but can't think of them all now.

Books: Celestine Prophecy, way of the peaceful warrior, loved all the Harry Potter books, read them all just before I left for Europe, but normally I enjoy reading autobiographies or biographies of people I find interesting. Just finished Johnny Cash's only authorised autobiography - very interesting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow, I could say alot here... but I'll save the cool stories for when we meet. Remind me to tell you about the experience I had on the Aran Islands, in Ireland. Or what I did when I was living in Scotland. I have loads of stories to share from Australia too.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think life experience is the best way to learn, because if we didn't make mistakes sometimes, then we'd never learn from them.
