我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to host a wide array of travelers while living abroad; however, I'm back at the folks home and they're not to keen on hosting travelers. I would love to meet up with people in the Houston area and make new friends.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had an amazing time couchsurfing with Shark Guy Chris in Panama City, Florida. It was an experience unlike any other filled with scuba, snorkeling and hookah. There was dancing, there was laughing, storytelling---- best time I've had in a while, words can't even do justice----even Karaoke =) Needless to say: couchsurfing rocks and is my preferred mode of traveling!

兴趣

loading up my backpack to max capacity, picking random cities to visit, reading all types of travel literature, keeping up with my journal so when I'm old and can't remember how to tie my shoes at least i'll know that i had some amazing adventures in my life

running, hiking (granted i've lived in texas most of my life so hills and mtns are always a challenge), nature in general--rivers, lakes, beaches jajaja im a fish, love to swim!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Nothing too extraordinary, but when I was in Belize a while back I went cave tubing with my sister. It was so dark the only light I had was my headlamp. The water was freezing and completely pitch black. I swam down trying to touch the bottom of the river, granted I didn't really think about it or I might have scared myself thinking what could be down there....i swam in the cold, dark water until i couldn't tell up from down, lost myself until I had to come up to breath, i felt like i was the last person on earth, scared but alive, never felt that same way again.
