ABOUT ME

We're together since almost a decade and in a few weeks, we'll start a one year trip to south-east Asia and Australia. We're aged 24 and 28. Maïté studied political sciences, mostly because society debates interest her a lot. Nicolas has studied computer graphics and worked for a theatre and is now working as a teacher. We both love to party and to cook, at least as much as we love to eat! Foreign gastronomy will undoubtly be part of ourjourney!

PHILOSOPHY

Our philosophy is to enjoy life as much as possible! We want to travel, meet people, discuss, exchange ideas, ... We want to find interests in everything that surrounds us.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We didn't have the opportunity to participate YET! But the spirit's there... Both of us have already hosted a lot of friends from abroad at several occasions. And we loved it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We don't have any couchsurfing experience YET! We heard about this new way of traveling and meeting locals through friends who already had the opportunity to travel this way. According to us, the best way for a journey is by meeting people along the road!

"La belle verte" was undoubtely a film we both loved, even though there's a long time we haven't wached it. Maïté loves reading, but she has to admit it would be hard to say, just like that, the title of her favourite book. Her plan is to travel with one book and try to exchange it with people she meets along the way... Musically, we're interested in a lot of different musical styles. Some of our favourite artists are Oi Va Voi, The Smiths, Dead Can Dance, Keith Jarrett, the Levellers, Propellerheards, ...
