About Me
Hi there! I come from Spain but I just moved to the Netherlands in search of a change. I don't quite know where this is taking me but I'm trying to enjoy the ride. Right now everything is new and I'm loving discovering it and taking up things I never did before.
I studied cinema at university and have also always been artistically inclined. I've recently taken up carving and pottery and I also enjoy making my own stickers when the muses pay a visit.
I consider myself to be easy-going and friendly, although I also enjoy having time just for myself. I like beer and long conversations, going to concerts, reading and wandering around town. Hiking and being in touch with nature always cheer me up. I try to lead a simple life, only making use of what I really need and trying to avoid unnecessary excess. I care about the environment and try to cause the least impact I can. It can be difficult and it's definitely an ongoing learning process but it's a lifestyle and philosophy I embrace and want to work for.
I'm afraid I can't host at the moment since I don't live in my own apartment and I am already kind of a guest myself. However, I will love to do so as soon as I find my own place, wherever that is.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To be honest, I'm here because I was visiting Amsterdam and that city is just too expensive for me, so crashing on a couch sounded like a great idea. However, I do believe this way of moving around is fantastic since it brings people together and enables us to connect and expand our worldviews. Besides, meeting local people is always exciting and enriching and the best way of really getting to know a place.

Music, Movies, and Books
The old, tricky favourites question. I'm going to say Jim Jarmusch, J.D. Salinger and Johnny Flynn to name one of each, but it won't be an entirely truthful nor complete reflection on the matter. We should converse about it over a beer for mayor detail ;)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will be a friendly and respectful guest that will love to explore the place with the host but that will also expect to be able to move around freely and have time for my own. I can offer great company to have a drink, to go sightseeing, partying, attending cultural events... anything that comes naturally and helps us all enjoy our days together.
