Hey world! I am a young photography student from Germany. I grew up on the countryside of Bavaria (I'm sure you all hear of it, and no, I don't wear a dirndl and eat pretzels all the time.. though I do like drinking beer!) and studied slavic philology in Munich for the last four years. I recently moved to the Ruhr area in West Germany to pursue my dream of studying photography. I also started playing bass in a band there, which prevents me from being lazy :P I laugh a lot and like to fool around, but you can also have a serious conversation about almost any topic with me, I'm really interested in how you see the world. Also apologize that I might seem so serious in my pictures, since I'm a photographer I somehow can't take pictures of myself smiling and not look like a complete fool.

Interests

I love to travel, meet up with friends or new people. Besides photography I like to read, go to the theatre, cinema or museums. I play the piano, guitar, bass, ukulele and really like to sing. A year ago, I started dancing Lindy Hop and playing chess, yihaw! When I was still at school, I was part of a theatre group and played the piano in a Big Band, which I really miss. I also like to cook and I'm very excited to get to know food from all alround the world. Besides, I'll never say no to a beer or two ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's mostly the little things in life that fascinate and inspire me (it sounds cheesy, but I really mean it). Also having been able to live my life without any big obstacles, fear or bad things to happen so far. I'm thankful for it every day!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Knowledge about photography and music - since I always have my camera with me when traveling, I'd love to portray you if you'd like to have pictures of yourself (or of your friends, partners, pets etc)! and I'd also be happy to bring you a souvenir, chocolate, wine, beer or something you always wanted from Germany (not sure about the beverages though when I travel by plane).
