Hi there! My name is Maja, nice to meet you :)

I have been learning Japanese on my own for a few years now, plus this year I went on an internship to Tokyo! I am interested in Japan and Japanese culture, movies, anime, but mainly I am into music - singing, swing dancing, playing piano and guitar. I also like all kinds of sport. As I am an open person and like to meet new people I also would like to get to know other cultures, from the inside ofcourse. I finished American Studies course at a university so I would be more than happy to help you improve your English or Polish (as I am from Poland).

Movies: every Marvel movie, Pirates of the Caribbean, Back to the Future, The Last Samurai, Anna and the King, and many anime, Japanese and Korean TV series.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Japan by myself in order to do an internship, for 3 months!
Also, I have started learning Ogura Hyakunin Isshu by heart - in order to be able to play Karuta! :D

Teach, Learn, Share

As I finished American Studies course and have been giving private English lessons for about 3 years now, I can help and even teach you English! Or Polish if you prefer ;)

I am also a pianist (can also play guitar) and a singer (I perform in restaurants), so I could teach you how to do any of the above.

I really like sports so if somebody needs an extra player for volleyball (or anything else) I would be more than glad to participate! :D I have also started to learn Ogura Hyakunin Isshu so I could play Karuta!
