I live in Nuremberg and work as a teacher at a vocational school. I love travelling and getting to know other countries, cultures and people. Therefore, I use all my holidays to travel as much as possible. I also spent some time in Australia (Perth) working as an au pair and loved it. In 2022/2023 I am going to take a sabbatical to travel around the world for a year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think couchsurfing is a great way to meet people worldwide, learn about their culture and the way they live, get recommendations from locals and make friends around the world.
Moreover, I would love to help other travellers visiting my city. I have already used Airbnb for quite some time now, as a guest as well as a host, but it seems to me that it is less and less about really meeting other people. So, let's try couchsurfing now :-).

- A helicopter ride on Kauai and visiting Hawaii in general
- Camping on Whitehaven Beach
- 🤿 with dolphins, manta rays, sharks, sea turtles, sea lions …
- Watching the sunrise at Mount Bromo and Monument Valley
- Visiting a lot of beautiful waterfalls and beaches all over the world
- Working as an au pair in Australia, exploring the country with a camper van and seeing humpback whales 🐋, kangaroos 🦘, koalas 🐨 and many other animals and beautiful scenery
- Rhino tracking in Namibia
- Visiting Etosha National Park and seeing all those wild animals in their natural environment
- Visiting the impressive national parks on America's West Coast
- Visiting Kruger National Park and even spotting a cheetah 🐆
- Watching a stunning sunset from the Table Mountain
- Getting my open water diver certification and diving with bull sharks 🦈
