About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finding balance between exploring and be satisfied with what already is. Travelling throughout South america this spring (2019) while studying a master in gender and law. Am specifically interested in any initiatives directed towards sustainable practices like eco-villages, permaculture as well as sites like CS where the exchange is social, cultural but not for money.
ABOUT ME
💚Vegan, feminist yoga teacher and Vipassana meditator. Have taken study leave from my office job to study online while I travel. Besides northern sweden where i live with my zen pug Aniara, my heart lies in India, Peru and Cuba, where I have been studying and working within gender and sustainable development issues. Love to travel and listen to travellers tales, discussing philosophy, arts and all the other wonders of the universe.
PHILOSOPHY
I believe that the human nature is inherently good and that we can create a better society for everyone if there is a genuine will for it. How is a bigger question, but mutual respect and devotion to others, valuing human (and other) life above material things could be a starting point. But life is a learning process, and probably there will never be any easy answers. Another world is possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Try to surf or at least meet people whenever we travel. Want to be more of local resource for travellers to Umeå.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Started couchsurfing on a roadtrip through Europe in 2011. Since then have couchsurfed or atelast met up with people form CS whenever I travel, mostly in India and Latinamerika, since it is such a great way to connect with people and places. Have had a lot of differing experiences since every person and place is unique, but all encounters have been supernice and interesting in their own way!
