About Me

!!! I'M NOT IN POLAND UNTIL THE MIDDLE OF OCTOBER AT LEAST SO I WON'T BE ABLE TO HOST DURING THAT TIME. I'M SORRY!!!

ABOUT ME

I'm a PhD candidate in cultural studies, living in Krakow, Poland. I chose travelling as a way of getting knowledge about the world and about the people around the world. I like talking with people and discovering new places.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't got much of so-called 'Couchsurfing Experience' (twice I was a guest and three times a host, supposedly not the worst one). I am honest. Please, trust me.

Interests

wandering, train traveling, living in the city, nature, reading, thinking, watching movies and other objects, taking photos, having fun, talking with people

I love music - and I guess that's what many people say but I also guess there's nothing wrong in expressing your love for music (eg through talking about that or dancing). I have always been listening to many types of music but you'll find several of hundreds of names I could mention below. And also: I'm about to start a band with my friends so I'm currently learning how to play bass guitar.

I'm also much into photography (I've been taken photos for nearly 10 years now, mostly with analogue cameras) and film. It would be the greatest pleasure, if we could talk about movies or watch some together!
Here you can see my photos: https://www.flickr.com/photos/majagomulska/

I can't really list many things I feel I'm good at, but I could say music and films are the topics I could spend a lifetime talking about.

I have been reading a lot since I remember. When I was about 16 I found myself interested in philosophy as well, so I went to study literature and cultural anthropology. Now I'm working on my PhD dissertation regarding visual essay.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you how it is to live in Cracow. I can tell you some other things about Poland and things I'm interested in. We can talk about nothing too. We can spend time taking photos, watching movies, analyzing poetry or cooking (I'm a vegetarian).
