Overview
About Me
Play. Improvisation. Laughter.
Hello hullo! I am a performer and workshop leader in the making. Finished a lot of intellectual studies in economics, psychology and social sciences but I wish to return to the world of theatre which I left behind at some point. I've been dancing a lot in the last years. I dance contact improvisation since 4 years (a movement form based on touch, weight sharing, contemporary dance, based off aikido - essentially deep listening and play with another body) and I am mad about social dancing these days: blues and tango are my two loves.
I perform a little bit here and there, I am part of a theatre group now focussing on physical theatre and I am still searching for the form of theatrical expression that suits me best. Exploring clown work, mime. Because I love to make people laugh. I make up improvised songs and I rap about the world, funny and at times profound, grotesque, absurd or rowdy!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because I like sneaking into people's houses and seeing how they live. How little details make a home cosy. How people's personalities manifest in their houses. To make great connections while having a comfy couch to sleep on instead of being in a no-soul come and go hostel.
Interests
Currently it all evolves around the arts: performance, physical theatre and clown. Devised theatre. Public space engagement. Dancing in the streets. Breaking unhelpful social norms.
Also communication: non-violent comm, authentic relating, connection with other people.
I like a good meal, an interesting conversation, a walk.
I love trying out new things as well, so always up to check something different!
