About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Make the most of almost an entire year off from work or school! Traveling, meditation, reading lots and a half-marathon are on the agenda.
Started this trip in November and visited Thailand, Myanmar, Philippines, Nepal, Morrocco and currently in Indonesia! Planning to go visit Singapore and Malaysia on the way back.
ABOUT ME
I love morning daybreaker dance sessions, sports (outdoors as well as gym), food and meeting new people. Always looking at the bright side of things, I do my best to understand myself and others as well as I can.
The more different we are the more I am looking forward to learning from you :)
I am into philosophy, meditation, equestrian, reading, Game of Thrones addict, caramel addict, vegetarian food unless you offer me an amazing steak... I love philosophical debates, smart cities and any topic around the future of technology or artificial intelligence, so a hybrid of fun and geek (and foodie).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I surfed in Asia and then hosted as well as socialized with people in Gdynia, Poland. I couldn't host in London due to living in a student accommodation but I am now back in Poland so I am looking forward to hosting again!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed in Asia, hosted in Poland and participated in CS meeting in Asia and Poland.
Interests
I studied liberal arts where I did modules in philosophy of science, smart cities, politics, law and some other society-oriented topics.
I love thinking about how we can make the most of our available technologies to help our society be fairer, cleaner and more tolerant, as well as responsive towards us citizens.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: depending on a day, ranges from rock, through reggae, to terrific humiliating pop tunes I secretly love when on a treadmill.
Writers: F.S.Fitzgerald, A.Huxley, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Cortazar, A. Miller, Pablo Neruda, Octavio Paz, Martin (Game of Thrones addict), Tolkien, Hunter S Thompson, Ekhart Tolle
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Completed a 10 day silent Vipassana meditation retreat in Nepal and went trekking for 21 days in the Himalayas without any prior experience of trekking in winter (it was awesome!). Also decided to work in China for 4 months, jumped off a 15 m cliff and talked with goats (with varying degrees of success).
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you Polish, I have some experience in teaching English to foreigners. Happy to cook together, show you around Gdynia and Gdansk (plus some history info).
Tell you about why artificial intelligence is a thing and why we should all care LOTS about it.
Down for a walk, hike or being taught how to climb or dive.
I want to practice my French and Spanish! Learning how to play a guitar, deepening my meditation practice and learning programming is also on the agenda.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Separate ensuite room or a room upstairs with a shared bathroom. We share the kitchen, living room and garden.
