ABOUT ME

My name is Majd.Majd means Glory in English, Gloria in Spanish, and Gloire in French:). I do love my name so much that's why I started to explain the meaning of it. It may sounds hard to pronounce it for some of you, but doesn't matter we can figure it out. I do have a nice & strong personality that I love it as much as I love my name. I am currently settling down in my lovely small city Ramallah in my hoe country Palestine.in which, I am working at an organization called leaders organization as a project coordinator. It is a non profit organization that aims at developing Palestinian youth on 2 main levels social and economic level. I am in love with my work, I do believe in social change and I believe that it can be achieved by implementing good and initiative projects.(if you are interested you can check our website: www.leaders.ps)<3 Whenever, I am asked to introduce myself, I say that I am a Palestinian girl who is optimist, ambitious, and love always to smile and laugh until it hurts. I love traveling and discovering new places, meet new people and adventuring the daily life of people from other countries and cultures.I am a Palestinian girl who loves to introduce her culture and language to others, She is a girl that wills to be an ambassador for herself and her country and people wherever she is. I have been to many countries as France, Netherlands, Egypt, United States(different states), Sweden, Macedonia, and Jordan. I have done these trips obtaining scholarships and opportunities to travel around those countries. I am willing though participating with this project to expand my chances to meet new people and get introduced to new daily lives, night lives, cities, dances, food...etc. This is a short brief about majoud (me) :)

PHILOSOPHY

There is nothing natural in this world.
If I don't love myself I won't be able to love others.
I love my family, I love my boyfriend and I love my life.This life that doesn't stop on anybody we know in our life. We live life for once so Love, fun, dance, be honest, and success.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about couchSurfing from a friend of mine. She is from Palestine, but she got introduced to it when she lived at Greece for a while. She recommended this project and urged me to experience it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No experience, but I would love to get to experience coushsurfing I love to meet new people from different cultures with different ideas and experiences

Interests

I adore traveling, I love dancing I dance salsa and Palestinian folklore dance, I am addicted to listen to music or singing, but my voice is horrible. I love shopping :). I am interested in discovering new countries and cities. I love nature and green places and I love too historical traditional places.I love that sense of being feeling and moving free without any boundaries or checkpoints or traditions or any routine.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The amazing and the best sight seeing that I have ever seen was the sunset of Ohrid in Macedonia.
One of the amazing things that I have ever done is skydiving in USA.
In addition of singing with my horrible voice in front of 1000 people in Egypt (one of the best moments in my life).
