Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Learn from others what I don't know and tell them what I think if they ask for it. It's all about give and take. We are all humans and nobody is perfect or better than the other. What you do and who you are is what makes you different and better. Not your skin or country of origin or your money.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Did it twice in 2009. 1st time in Cologne in Germany with an engineer at VolksWagen company, and 2d time in Antwerp in Belgium with a couple (husband and wife). The husband was Scottish and his wife and American teacher. Was awesome and a lot of fun. I loved it!

Interests

It's nice to meet people you don't know. They teach you things and you teach them as well. You don't get bored or lonely. They show you around and tell you tricks. You tell jokes and exchange experiences. They make your journey easy and nice.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moroccan Sahara: 120 Km in 3 days (walking back and forth close to the Algerian borders).

Teach, Learn, Share

Learning and traveling go hand-in-hand in forging the person you are. Better travel, see, and learn more than buy a house, an expensive motorbike, and a fancy car. Unless you are very rich/wealthy! ya, why not.
