About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Delight in Winter sunshine, Create & Play

ABOUT ME

Flexible and free. Traveling to discover friendships in new lands and experience the colors, shapes, sizes, sounds & choices of existence is my prime directive.

Simple life with lots of sunshine and movement. Often can be found in Ashland, Oregon as well as someplace new.
I love learning Indigenous stories about our world, watching the different lands and mountains, waters and winds come alive from a new cartoonist's brush ~ introducing another possibility, another vantage point of depth and understanding.

PHILOSOPHY

Keep learning, doing little things you love, opening up to each horizon you see, dance and smile with your eyes, breathe in fresh air as much as possible, and share your inspirations with young and old.

Found CS in Ecuador touring about with a friend who longed to cook for a big group of (yet to be made) new friends! ...few days later, we did up a feast for 6 then strangers, now great travel buddies! Surfed with a few friends in the States when I returned, and love to support the method of meeting great new people!

Music, Movies, and Books

Diversity. International, World, Ancient to whatever's new & pushing the boundaries.

Love creating music and learning from musicians!
I picked up my first strings in the summer of 2012: a Ukelele & Mandolin!

Captivating writing styles get me. I've gotta pick up the book and connect, no matter the subject, with how the author is communicating.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A week of walking out to the water for sunrise at Lago de Atitlan, Guatemala: What I saw every day was a transition from the magic of traditional fishermen and their simple boats coming in from the morning fish with nets & poles, transitioning to the motor boats that ferried around passengers from town to town around the lake. Transformation from ancient to modern every morning with the magnificence of the rising sun.

...& Kayaking the straight between Galiano & SaltSpring islands; Gulf Islands Canada - somehow thrilling and refreshing all at once!

...& Slept on the Devil's Marbles under a new moon and the brightest stars Australia's NT can deliver, playing flutes & drums for sunrise.
