ABOUT ME

From the green forest and land of tigers of India, former environmental consultant, BA grad in engineering and MBA in Environment Management. I am also a Fulbright scholarship and completed Masters from Yale University. Presently, I am based in Delhi, and working in a policy think tank in the area of Natural Capital. I've worked on lots of different projects over the years on diverse thematic areas - forest, environment, gender, poverty reduction etc. I play Indian Bamboo Flute. I like to eat well and meet people, constantly finding myself hiking/running/biking in the great outdoors.

PHILOSOPHY

No matter what the mood of the hour may be, the one philosophy we must never forget is that we all have the ability at any given moment to be a good person and treat people with love and respect.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For the people! If I just wanted a place to sleep, I'd get a hotel. I want to meet locals and see places through their eyes. I want to meet interesting people who are doing interesting things. I prefer to host people who are looking for the same.

I surf when I travel, and I host whenever I can. Being a Fulbright scholar I like to know more about US and also wanna share about my Indian diverse culture.

Interests

I have many anything sciency or insightful is typically interesting to me. I also think modes of expression are interesting, you know, how people speak, what types of art they like. Oh, one of the coolest things is brain development, that a bunch of neurons can create a person. That's pretty interesting. I am so much into photography!

I am always open to share experience in the field of forest, environment, communities, birds and animals. Also I'm quite a foodie so would a good person to suggest you good food places.

For other things, I feel like I don't know much about anything in particular. But if you have a question, I could probably find an answer.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation over a glass of something. My travel experiences, my photographs. Also, I can also play flute for my fav guests and may give them company in roaming in the city. I am always open to give company and eager to show Delhi and surrounding places!
