ABOUT ME

I'm an open-minded, friendly, active and easy-going person.
I was born and raised in Kyoto, Japan. After graduating from college in Osaka, I lived in Hiroshima for 6 years and in the US for 2 years for work, before coming to Toronto, Canada in 2015.

When I was a high school student, I visited Canada for my first time and the experience changed my life. Since then, I've been traveling more than 20 countries and got a lot of cool experiences. I usually start traveling solo and end up making friends during my trip. That's my favorite style of travelling.

I enjoy meeting new people from all over the world and learn from them.

I have a lot of stories to share and I love listening to stories from people as well.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One day, I was walking on the street in Hiroshima, Japan where I lived back then and ran into two Austrian guys looking at a guide book in the middle of the street. So I talked to them and guided them how to get to the restaurant that they were looking for. They told me that they were traveling around Japan and heading to Kyoto next day. Kyoto is my hometown and I was planning on going back to see my family next day as well! Wow!! So I invited them to my house in Kyoto and had a great time cooking some Japanese food and visiting temples near by. After 2 years, I made a trip to Vienna, Austria to visit them and they took me to great places. We are still keeping in tough!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a native Japanese speaker so I can teach Japanese. Also I like cooking and I cook Japanese food almost every day, so if you want to learn how to make authentic Japanese food, I'm here for you.
