About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live free through new experiences!!
ABOUT ME
I'm Greek but have been living in London, England for the last decade. Life is relatively conservative in Greece and after meeting so many open-minded people in London, my life changed for the better. I have some great friends who opened up a new world to me and so, I decided to change my life to the better and quit my boring, money-grabbing job to see the world, meet new people and cultures and re-discover myself.
I hate describing myself but if I think of what my friends would say, I guess I'm a very chilled out, easy-going person above all. I find that smometimes, the less organised you are, the more interesting the experiences you live through. I want to wake up at 60 years old and be able to narrate to my grandchildren countless stories of the places I've been, the people I've met and how the impredicatabilities of life open the doors to new worlds.
PHILOSOPHY
Live and learn...
Let's see how it goes...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Love it. There's a trust among the members you don't see very often and its a concept that really fits in with my lifestyle. At the moment, I'm travelling around Latin America for a year but when I get back (wherever that will be) I want to contribute and as soon as I have my own place, want to act as a host. This is not only to give back to the community but also great for me in meeting new people and doing my bit to showing them the city I live in..
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Haven't had one bad experience yet! It's cool to meet like-minded people who are as eager to learn from you and your cultural background as to teach you about their's.
It's fascinating and am looking forward getting to know more members!
Interests
Clearly travelling! From then on, the usual stuff, music and live gigs, reading, cinema. Not an avid sports fan but since travelling around Latin America, have got into stuff I wouldn't do back home. Basically my interests are stuff that I couldn't normally do

Music, Movies, and Books
Favourite book has to be George Orwell's 1984 but there's too much out there to list. Examples are Paul Theroux books, the whole beatnik generation, Philip K Dick and anything philosophically and politically thought-provoking...
Same with movies... Brazil, Bladerunner, the Big Lebowski and Fight Club are examples of favourite films.
Music: Favourite band, undoubtedly Radiohead but can pretty much listen to anything. Newer music includes Devendra Banhart, Thievery Corporation, Groove Armada and Coco Rosie amongst others but am getting into my electronica as well and am always asking for new local music when travelling...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bought a minivan in North Brazil and drove 16,000km to Patagonia and then back up. Driving through the wilderness and plain nothingness of Patagonia is an experience I will never forget
Teach, Learn, Share
Can cook, clean, a regular housewife!!! Any Greek lessons needed?
Would like to learn some more juggling, poi and devil stick tricks
