ABOUT ME

Hi there,
I am currently living and studying in Brisbane Australia but I will be on holiday in Sydney till 20th February.

I lived in the US (Washington State) nearly for one year in 1996-1997 as an exchange student, and I've lived in Australia since May 2008. I used to work for Tokyo branch of an American real estate investment company.

I love traveling... My latest trip was to Malaysia and Vietnam. It was a sole travel but I could meet wonderful people duing the trip. Meeting people while traveling is great and surely makes the quality of travel different. That was one of the reasons I got interested in this CS.

The other reason I got interested in CS was because I found something when I was showing my Korean friend around Tokyo. As a local and lover of knowing the little things about history and culture, there were so many things I wanted to show and explain to him even at one temple/shrine. But so many non-Japanese travellers past us without knowing them and I felt it was shame. With local's help, the travel can be very different. And I felt this CS is a great way for the cultural exchange and connecting people from all over the world!

I'm interested in meeting new people and learning different cultures. Through this CS, I hope I can get to know many new wonderful people and become friends!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Started in Dec 2010, I am still new here. However I could meet many nice people through CS by joining the new year eve Tokyo walk (Shibuya-Daiba) and going for dinner/drinks when I was in Japan on holiday.
