Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

During my travels there so many people - especially when hitchhiking - inviting me/us to their homes, sharing their food and stories that it became natural to me to give something back. I love o have people around me, share experiences, exploring my city in a new way and so on....

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I used to share a couchsurfing acount together with my friend Yannick Rosenzweig that we used for some travels in Morocco and later to host people in our hometown Siegen. Check his page to see some references. However, now that I live in Marburg and he in Hamburg/Germany, it was time to get my own acount....Also did some Surfing in South Africa...

Interests

BMX, my friends and family, travel the planet, give something back to the people, building Dirt Jumps, Backgammon, a good book, hiking high mountains, my guitar, the white water.....turkish food from my girl friend!

Music, Movies, and Books

Not movies but books...currently: Long road to freedom by Nelson Mandela - one has to read it to understand aspects of daily south african life, the development of its society and so on.

Music? Ahhhh Leoanard Cohen as No.1, Jim Croce, The Animals, Reggae and everything that has a deep Beat and good RAP Skills. Favourite at the moment: Via Orland!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Got a whole bunch of kids and youngsters onto BMX Bikes in a small rural Zulu village in KwaZuluNatal and helped them to create their own BMXPark in the middle of Nowhere.
