ABOUT ME

My name is Marcin and I'm 23 years old. I love travelling and that's I joined CS. I want to visit other countries and meet people from different nationalites and cultures. I hope I will gain only good experience from taking part in CouchSurfing project.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed some couches during my bike trip from Poland to Manchester, UK and I met many fantastic people thanks to it. Then I countinued to use CS while travelling in other European countries, as well as in Australia and on Fiji Islands (best experience, so far).

Beside surfing, I also had a couple of guests at my place (from countries such as Brazil, Malaysia, China, South Korea, France). And I am still looking for more and more people to meet and host.

Interests

My main interests are sport and travelling. I like taking up many disciplines, such as athletics, volleyball, basketball, cycling, cross-country skiing etc. I watch also many sport events on the TV and used to work as sport journalist, writing about Polish football league.

My second pasion is travelling. I visited many European countries, as well as Japan and Australia. I like also discover Poland and my favourite destinations are Tatra Mountains and Mazurian lakes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn something about culture of countries, which people who I meet come from, try some traditional dishes of their countries and maybe learn some basic words of their languages.

I can of course teach you some Polish language, as I found it very useful to know at least some basic words in language used in country which you visit or which your guest come from.
