Overview
About Me
After working in a Japanese trading company for 36.5 years I retired in 2008 and became a Japanese language(JSL) teacher. My first experience was in Ashgabat (Turkmenistan), then in Samarkand (Uzbekistan) for one year each, and then for 2 years in Hanoi (Viet Nam) until May, 2015.
Now I am retired again, but not happy about it and want to take some action.
I love my country and at the same time I am interested in and like outside world since childhood.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am full of curiosity. I read books, newspapers and internet, but most of all I like to meet and listen to people and to see everything by my own eyes.
Interests
I am interested in foreign countries and foreign people. Foreign languages, too. Tll now I visited 68 countries and I am still eager to increase the number.
As for sports, I love tennis. It, in combination with beer that follows, gives me health, joy and energy for tomorrow.

Music, Movies, and Books
The Beatles and their songs make me happy. Generally I like something new, but as for music oldies are my favorite. I like KARAOKE, of course.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach Japanese, that is, if you are interested. In classrooms I can teach, but I would rather share our experiences and learn facts and truth of life through couchsurfing.
I scored 970 at TOEIC, so I can teach Japanese in English (or in Russian if you prefer).
What I Can Share with Hosts
We can share our experiences, our views and opinions on things we have seen and people we have met in the world. I do not represent Japan or Japanese, but our diferent views may interest , surprise or serve each other for better understanding of the changing world.
