I'm a polish student of my last university years. I was always interested in geography, the world and related stuff as a kid so it was a matter of time before I set up an account here.

I like trying local cuisine. Not vegan but against animal suffering. I can appreciate good coffee and wine.

The most tourist places annoy me very quickly. I prefer dirty but real over clean but fake. Sounds a little idealistic, but it really makes me sick to be treated like a tourist.

I have a hard time trying to improvise in my life as I have a tendency to follow schemas and patterns, but constantly fighting with it. There's nothing wrong with being a little organized, but believe me - I often suffer. Anyway, doing things uncomfortable at first gives me the most satisfaction in the end, so let's beat that comfort zone to the pulp.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started travelling with my gf since covid actually. We are successively trying to make our journeys more fun and culturally rich by meeting new people, visiting less popular destinations or learning about the history. We usually let flight search engine pick the place we will visit next. Once we found the host that welcomed us in his own place and made us feel like at home, we don't want to get back to hotels.

These days I spend more time exploring nature and local cultures rather than following the world news, so I'll be happy to share what I've learnt.
