Hello,I am Max and I am 20 years old. I was born in Riga (capital of Latvia ). Most of my life i was living and studying there, but during every summer since I was 5 years old, I was spending my summer holidays in Russia in a small village with my grandparents in our summer house, so that is why I am pretty familiar with Russian culture.
During my whole life I was always doing some sport activities. I was playing in professional football team for 10 years and visited many countries with my team when we were playing on football competitions.
Also I really love and respect nature. When I was smaller, I felt some connection between nature and myself and always wanted to live in harmony with it. Now I am studying Environmental management in Denmark in city of Aarhus and in future I want to conserve and protect the nature,because my idea is to keep and improve the environment we have at the moment for our future generations.
Also I have good sence of humor and I won't let you to be bored. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great possibility to meet new people from different countries and i really interested in interacting with new culture. Also it is a good way to see how people are living from place to place.

Interests

I have various interests. I am very interested in sports especially in football because it was a big passion for half of my life.My favorite team is ''Liverpool FC'' which I am supporting for 11 years.
I like spending my free time on nature enjoying the beauty of the Mother Earth. It makes me feel alive and free. During this period I like to think about what is really important in our lives and about my life in general. I am also interested in philosophy since it gives me the answers for my questions. Socrates is a person who is inspiring me and gives me the example of a kind and right way of life.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music style is indie but i also like rock,metal,reggae and some classic music. And some of my favorite bands or singers are The XX, Birdy, Blink 182, Bob Marley,Chelsea grin.
I prefer comedies,horrors,dramas and thrillers and some of my favorite movies are ''The Gran Torino'' and ''Shawshenk redemption''. And my favorite actors are Clint Eastwood and Morgan Freeman.
Mainly I am reading philosophy books and I am a follower of the Socrates and my favorite book is ''The Secret''.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once i decided to face my fears of society's opinion and I started to walk with a plant. I was taking it everywhere i was going and it was making a lot of fun and made random people to smile. It learned me how to not to think what people will think about me and that made me happy!
