My name is Maksym, I was born in Luhansk (east part of Ukraine), moved to Kharkiv (still east Ukraine) in 2014, moved to Poznan (Poland) in 2022, moved to Quesnel (BC, Canada) in 2024. Now I'm 18, and would like to continue to be on the move.

I am a positive, calm person, although sometimes I am bursting with energy, especially when I feel I have an audience. My passion is performing, I play trumpet and piano, like music improvisation and doing theatre. While living in Poland I've learned Polish, now learning English and discovering my interest in languages. The next one I would love to go for is French.

This year I graduated high school in Canada, now is a time in my life for explorations, learning, discovering. meeting new people, traveling and finding out about myself.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe that the best way to experience the world is through people. I love meeting open-minded, creative souls and learning how others live, think, and see the world.

Right now, I'm in a chapter of my life full of change, movement, and discovery — about the world and about myself. Couchsurfing is a beautiful way to travel not just across places, but across perspectives.

I would love to learn how to cook better. I can prepare food, but I wish I could cook like a chef, at least few dishes.
