Londoner by birth, five years ago I got on a plane to Madrid and I haven't really looked back.

I teach English by day, and in my free time I write poetry, draw, drink beers on terraces, meet friends and enjoy life.

Somtimes I party like a 21 year old..id like to think im slightly more reformed as I near 30 retirement is coming but then the sun comes out and all hope for a quiet life disappears.

In my previous apartment I hosted many people, but I have since moved and now I live alone in a small place and at the moment i am not hosting this may change in the summer.

As I said in my previous apartment I hosted many people and it was a great experience, to learn about different people, discuss ideas on the world, discuss life over glasses of wine.

If you come to Madrid I can tell you where all the best clubs are, the ones you don't read about in a guide book

I can show you my Madrid the things that I love, I think to see a city through the eyes of a non native gives you a different type of perspective..unless of course that non native prefers creature comforts, put it this way if I showed you my Madrid there would be no Irish bars or English breakfast in the tour, I maybe British but I do feel i have immersed myself into Spanish culture.
