About Me

I am a current part time student that is employed full time. Somehow I still find time to have a lot of fun! I am a military brat so I've been traveling my entire life and I don't plan on stopping. While I can't travel right now, I think that by supporting other travelers I get to travel vicariously through them. I like getting out and exploring this beautiful place that I live, sometimes having a drink with a sunset or getting out of town for a few days.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I have a comfy couch! Why pay for a bad room with no one to show you around when you can sleep on my great couch and hang out with me? I might be working a lot but my roommates are cool too and they would like to hang out when I can't :D I like meeting new people and sharing experiences while making new ones.

Interests

I am majoring in Communication and have a special interest in PR, writing, mass media, photography, and design. I try to read as often as possible and also like playing sports. I am always up for trying something new because that's what leads to those great experiences that you can share with others, whether good or bad. My motto: Just Try It.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movie is still Warrior. I love The Office, Parks & Recreation, House of Cards, Shameless, as well as several documentaries. One of my favorite nonfiction books is Deep by James Nestor. If you love the ocean, or even if you don't, this is a great book. I'll give you $20 if you don't try to hold your breath at some point while reading it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I graduated high school in Japan. I moved there in 2002 when I started 2nd grade and besides 8th grade and my freshman year of high school, I was at school in Okinawa. I've attended 7 different schools before I graduated and am currently on my 3rd college and I will definitely attend at least one more university.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to hang a hammock almost anywhere! I love learning about different cultures, languages, skills, and experiences.
