About Me

I've been taking the winding dirt path through time and it's made my life extraordinary. Maybe not by everybody's standards, but definitely by my own. These days I get by in all sorts of ways, but mostly I play a lot of music on a lot of things.

Some of my friends think I'm brave, because I do things they would be too afraid to. Little do they know that most things aren't really as scary as they imagine. In fact, I've found most adventures to be very easy, as long as you just set your mind right and simply push on.

I don't like inconsiderate people and I try to be as considerate as I can myself. Being witness to rudeness can bring my mood down for the day. I like feeding stray cats, even if it makes me feel like a sixty year old woman with no friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first registered here in 2012, because I was told about this website by a friend and I needed a place to stay in Greece.

Since then I've been hosted and I have hosted other people numerous times. Most times we used the registration of a girl I was with at the time (it was a while), so most of my references are somewhere on hers. I think I may also have another profile on the site.

As for the why - I think it's fairly obvious. When I'm traveling it's a "free" place to stay with friendly people and when hosting it's fun guests delivered, more often than not, to your door. I've had "meh" experiences, but never a bad one.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite music is the kind I like. I can't define it any better, but I can give you countless examples.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ate a huge pizza by myself even though everyone doubted me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Most memorable songs stick to chords built on the tonic (1st), subdominant (4th) and dominant (5th), with some daring to go into the submediant (6th).

What I Can Share with Hosts
