I am Mala, Malaysian - Indonesian currently based in Berlin, Germany.

I am a person who appreciates and enjoys freedom, a social butterfly, willing to learn something new and take up new challenges ! I am an open mided person, love to discover different cultures and I am always grateful :) I seek peace and inspirations, I prefer to see the bright side of everything :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been a registered member on Couchsurfing since 2010, to be honest I signed up because Couchsurfing had this feature (it was cooler back then) where you can list down all the places you have been and the places you want to go (if I am not mistaken). It excited me but I was never an active member, I never participated in anything here until last year 2016. I went to Indonesia and decided to use Couchsurfing to find friends and hosts. Amazingly, it went really great and I kept using Couchsurfing for my other trips. I even met travelers in my home country when I have free time coz it's fun to meet people who have at least one common thing in mind ; travel !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Knew that I wasn't happy, wasn't where I wanted to be and I took an action to change my situation. And now I am exactly where I wanted to be :D

I did some other amazing things too

I traveled alone a lot and enjoyed doing it

I went to Africa

I participated in an inter culutural exchange program, living in a foreign country by myself since I was so young, experienced extreme culture shocks, met awesome people and became a culturally competent person.

Was brave enough to love and be myself :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you maybe my language if you're interested, also how to love yourself :)

I would love to learn anything you can offer as long as it brings good vibes and doesn't harm anybody

I could take you around, show you good food in town, maybe also cook for you :)
