Hi, I’m Mala, or some call me Sari. Malaysian-Indonesian, currently based in Berlin. I enjoy traveling, meeting people, and exploring new cultures.

I’ve been on Couchsurfing since 2010, but I became active in 2016 during a trip to Indonesia. Meeting hosts and fellow travelers was amazing, and I’ve kept using it for other trips and even to meet travelers in my own city. I love connecting with people who share a passion for travel and cultural exchange.

Over the years, I’ve taken steps to shape my life and embrace new experiences. I’ve traveled solo, lived abroad at a young age, experienced different cultures, and learned to be independent and open-minded — while always being myself.

I enjoy sharing language, culture, and perspectives, and I’m always open to learning from others. I’m happy to show you around, recommend good local food, or cook a meal together. I’m also open to being hosted, but I value respectful, platonic connections only.
