About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finding callipigious kinesiophiles

ABOUT ME

I've been a massage therapist for the last eight years. Until recently, I was working as a barmaid in a pub that was voted 'Best in England' two years on a row. I'll be traveling for some of May, and most of June, and really look forward to meeting wonderful people.
I go to school in San Francisco, studying a science that no one can spell. Suffice it to say, I get to cut up bodies and can gross people out at the drop of a hat.
I've just discovered those instant packets of soup. And no, I'm not addicted. I can quit whenever I want.
I have a blog at
http://www.ilikegray.com/fender
I'm posting my experiences of living as an American in Norwich. Stories include crazy ladies' full-volume musings, cat vomit, and how my friends keep me from following said crazy people.
It involves tackling.

PHILOSOPHY

I love jumping into the unexpected. Some of the best experiences of my life have happened because I said "Yes!".
I say yes to couchsurfing, to travel, and to music, love, and adventure.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My best, and oddest, memory was when I was about 18. I was hitching in some remote part of I5 in California, and got stuck in the middle of the night in a gas station. No one would give me a lift, and the attendant kept telling me I wasn't allowed to actually sleep at the counter.
He kept kicking me.
I eventually got a ride with these two drunk hillbillies, who put me up on their couch, and proceeded to get piss drunk four feet away.
I remember a lot of glass bottles shattering.
I was too tired to worry too much, but the possibility of being stabbed was very clear.
I left them a nice note the next morning, and ran like hell.
