ABOUT ME
// WE CAN'T HOST FOR NOW SORRY WE ARE TEMPORARILY STAYING AT MY PARENTS' HOUSE WHERE THE SPARE ROOM IS BEING RENOVATED //
I am a French woman born in the suburbs of Paris but I grew up in Perpignan. I lived in Sweden as a student (2013-2015), then I became an English teacher in France in 2019 but I resigned last year (2023).
I live with my Transnistrian (Transniwhaaat ? yeah I know, I had never heard of it before meeting him either) boyfriend, Serghei, who speaks Russian, good French and a bit of English. We met in 2020, we were "language partners" as he was learning French and I russian. I eventually succumbed to his accent and mistakes in French and his Transnistrian charm.
We are now back at my parents' place (near Perpignan) after travelling a bit (just got back from 2 months in Australia) until we move closer to Switzerland (hopefully).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I tried to host as much as I could when I was in Perpignan living with my parents who enjoyed meeting new people. We also had extra rooms to offer.
For 3 years, I had my own apartment and chose a 2 bedroom one JUST for hosting people, but COVID somewhat changed my plans and I didn't have the opportunity to host many people.
Hopefully, after traveling a bit around the world, when we have our own place, we'll meet and host many of you :D

Music, Movies, and Books
When it comes to music, anything from my beloved John Williams makes me incredibly happy (and even more when it's Dual of the Fates, Accross the Stars, and Hedwig's theme), Hans Zimmer as well.
I listen to a lot of classical music 🎶 my favorite composer being Tchaikovsky. I used to play the violon when I was younger.
Of course I'm a true Harry Potter lover (the books are obviously better than the films) and it's what made me start enjoying reading :P
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, I' m probably not the only one but so far the best trip was a 10 days roadtrip/camping all around norway and with ofc the most breathtaking view ever on top of Trolltunga fjord !
Update : running my first (and 2nd) marathon in Paris in 2022 and 2023, a lot of pain but a great satisfaction when crossing the finish line.
