Overview
About Me
Hi! I am a 23-year-old student from India, who has travelled to Europe and Canada for educational/internship purposes. I am currently back in India, while also trying to explore Asia more extensively.
While I am always up for travel, my personal favourites are beaches and cities. I am also a big-time foodie, who loves to try new cuisines. Growing up in India, I live and breathe the country- if you're curious about our food, culture, travel or anything really, I am the go-to person! As typically Indian as it sounds, I am also into Yoga; besides this, I play Tennis and Badminton. Also, a great conversationalist, I pride myself on the ability to keep everyone entertained.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe real travel happens through people and their cultures. Couchsurfing gets me closer to the locals and allows me to experience a city through their perspective, which I think is beautiful. I learn a bit of their culture, language and I get to share my culture from India in return. I am also someone open to new experiences and CS is the best place to be. The relationships we build don't last a lifetime, but their impact sure does! I believe a small space in the host's accommodation can make a world of a positive impact on my journey.
All the reasons aside, I am also a student and a backpacker. I appreciate budget-friendly options which also allow me to simultaneously immerse myself in the culture of the place and opens me to local possibilities.
