About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is to get the hell out of Malchow from time to time!
ABOUT ME
I am the mother of 2 lovely young boys, and recently became wife to their father. We live in a small, quiet, idyllic town in NE Germany. It's a great place to raise kids, great to visit if you like woods, lakes, cycling, and eating ice cream, but not exactly an exciting place. We are renovating a large old house in our spare time (my husband, Uwe, works full-time as a tischler (furniture-maker), and I am trying (half-heartedly) to improve my German. We are chilled-out hippy types, and hope to be able to host some visitors soon.
PHILOSOPHY
I suppose my personal philosophy would be along the lines of make your own happiness, focus on what you have rather than what you lack, and leave behind as little rubbish as possible..

Music, Movies, and Books
I like lots of different music, from Blues and Jazz to Cuban, Trip-Hop, The Grateful Dead and all the old hippie shit. Would not be into hard-core techno electro stuff, but basically like anything I can dance to. On Internet TV I enjoy alot of American cable shows like Treme, Dexter, True Blood, Nurse Jackie, Mad Men, etc. I read few books lately :-( but look forward to each week's edition of The New Yorker with great anticipation. Uwe is a Der Spiegel man, and would be well into the whole Lord of the Rings thing. . .
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I honestly can't think of one particular thing, just many dawns met with friends who were strangers when the night started. . .
