I’m Malco a Mexican psychologist, CrossFitter, and festival lover. I explore how body, mind, heart, and spirit shape a joyful life. I value deep talks, shared meals, and spontaneous adventures. For me, Couchsurfing is about meaningful exchanges, not just a couch.

In 2026 I’m traveling across Asia mainly Thailand, Indonesia, and Japan as part of my personal awakening. After Japan I’m keeping things open until July, when I’ll head to Europe for Awakenings Festival and then Ibiza.

I want to make friends around the world, exchange life experiences, and see cultures from different points of view. Since I started traveling, I loved it—so I keep doing it whenever I can. I enjoy meeting new people and I’m happy to host when possible and to help travelers who visit my country.

Music is one of my favorite ways to feel alive — I listen to all kinds, but EDM, Techno, and Trance always light my fire. I love music festivals and dancing with good energy around people who vibe the same way.

When it comes to movies, I’m passionate about stories that expand your mind and soul. I have a list of eight spiritual movies that truly changed me:
Her, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, The Fountain, The Tree of Life, Mr. Nobody, Arrival, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and Lucy.
Each one reflects a part of my own awakening journey.

As for series, I’ve watched so many from GOT, Gotham and Vikings, The Walking Dead, The Sopranos, The Office, Friends but my all-time favourite will always be How I Met Your Mother.

About books I enjoy reading, but I must confess I don’t do it as much as I wish. Still, I’m always open to new recommendations that make me think or feel deeply.
