I grew up in a small town in Mississippi. I went to collage in the north east, but graduate school has taken back down south. Currently, I'm studying clinical psychology at the University of Alabama Birmingham. The hours are long, but the work is rewarding. I'm most eager to start working in a clinical setting where I can listen to peoples' stories and do my best to help them live their best lives.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Even though I'm getting a specialized education in psychology, the classroom really doesn't do you justice when trying to understand the human condition. I guess what I am trying to say is that most people do not see the world the way I do and short of obtaining super powers (not that I would not super down) the best way to learn from people is to talk to them. I hope Couchsurfing can provide me the opportunity

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went snow boarding. This probably isn't amazing by most standards, but I was really bad at it and I did not break any bones so I feel pretty good about it.

Learn - Spanish (and really anything else the act of learning is a true gift)

Share - If it wears spandex, has heat vision, magical, in a comic book, I will love it unconditionally and will share that love with you until I have returned to dust
