About Me
ABOUT ME
Self-description is no fun. I like people and I like learning. I've spent the past several years at university, mainly studying computer science, and now feel a vague desperation to explore things in the world that cannot fit on a computer screen: to meet new people, to see exciting sights, to go on grand adventures, to experience cultural diversity and to challenge myself to grow.
PHILOSOPHY
Philosophy is hard. The unexamined life might still be happy. Carpe diem?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have met many new people at a few CS events in the short time I've been a member here. I hope to do some surfing in China/Kazakhstan/India later this year, and after returning to Australia hope to host adventurers from around the world!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Not much experience yet, but all of it good. It seems easy to connect with all the couchsurfers I've met so far.
Interests
learning (anything), playing (card/board/computer games, and sports, badly), cooking (and eating), running (when not injured), cycling (even when injured), computer programming, reading fantasy, enjoying nature, motorbiking
