ABOUT ME

Down to earth, friendly, eco-friendly as well, likes to play music (drums & percussions, many differents styles), like to cook as well and up for some sightseeing (if planned :D busy man :p ). Up 2 have nice afterwork when I am free, for a beer or a wine ;)

I'm pretty straight forward and direct in the way to say the things, I expect also people to speak frankly too.

Btw I got a cat (or I am its slave, depending on your POV...) so allergic people please refrain.

Les pieds sur terre, amical, éco-responsable également, j'aime jouer de la zique (batterie et percussions, styles assez éclectiques), j'aime cuisiner aussi et aussi partant pour visiter les alentours (pour autant que cela soit planifié, j'ai un train de vie assez chargé). Partant également pour un apéro après le travail quand le temps me le permet, une mousse ou du vin, etc...

Je suis très direct et ne passe pas par 4 chemins pour dire les choses, j'apprécie aussi la franchise en retour.

J'ai un chat, donc allergiques s'abstenir ! ;)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can teach you some percussion rudiments and maybe if I am confident enough :D I'll show you how to use a drumkit. I can also teach you French or Spanish and maybe some recipes as I love to cook !

Je peux te montrer des rudiments de percussion et si je suis assez en confiance, je pourrais même te montrer comment jouer sur une batterie. Je peux t'apprendre de l'espagnol, de l'anglais et même quelques recettes de cuisine, vu que j'adore cuisiner.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first experience was pretty easy in fact, a blues-rock jam session in Bern with a charming and talented russian singer, a guitarist from Czech republic and a guitarist french friend of mine :) an unforgettable night where I've meet a bunch of nice people and where I discovered the CS events :) that jam session was one of them.

I had unfortunately a bad experience with a Couchsurfer who was more a leecher, who took advantage of me and also my ex-girlfriend at that time. Anyway it was an experience :) Now I've added some criteria in my profile, thanks to him.

Ma 1ère expérience fut assez simple en fait, une jam blues-rock sur Berne avec une charmante et talentueuse chanteuse russe, un guitariste de république tchèque et un pote gratteux français :) une soirée inoubliable ou j'ai rencontré plein de gens sympa et ai découvert les "events" couchsurfing, la jam en était un justement.

J'ai eu malheureusement une mauvaise expérience avec un Couchsurfer qui était plus une sangsue, qui a profité de moi et de mon ex'copine. Toutefois ce fut une expérience :) maintenant j'ai ajouté plus de critères à mon profil, grâce à lui.

Currently involved in a blues rock project, also metal, and last kinda versatile ;) ... trying to learn jazz and also sometime music "to take away" : Sometimes when the weather forecasts allows it, I'm attending a lot of jams sessions and open stage/open mics.

I love to hike from time to time, I love also photography

Je joue dans un projet blues rock, j'essaie d'apprendre le jazz aussi et parfois de la musique "à l'emporter" : Pas mal impliqué dans les jam sessions !Je participe à beaucoup de jams également et aussi des "scène ouvertes".

J'aime me balader de temps à autres et aussi la photographie.

Sci-Fi, Heroic Fantasy, Comics (Marvel, DC Comics), films d'horreur aussi parfois, pour les bouquins, principalement Werber et Asimov, ainsi que Tolkien. Séries préférées : Breaking Bad, GoT, Black Mirror, Dexter, Star Trek, Walking Dead, Altered Carbon, Gotham (well, most of the stuff from DC and Marvel Universe).

Teach :

- percussions, drumming
- chilean recipes (cooking) but I'm fond of cooking generally speaking, moreover when it's not only for me !
- IT (computing), 'cause that's my job basically. I can teach you 2-3 useful things
- DIY
- Community Management basics on Facebook.
- Photography basics, full manual mode on DSLR (I start to have an experience in concerts photo, since 4 years now)
- If you plan to move within Switzerland, I can give you a bunch of useful advices.

Learn :

to get to know my interlocutor in a general way because you can't summarize the inner wealth of a person in a few words :) I like different cultures and horizons than mine and what I like also holds in one word : respect :)

Sharing :

Musical moments, a good bottle of wine or a beer, a good home made meal, memories, a landscape, a walk, a destiny that intertwines with another (yours perhaps?) :D

Enseigner :

- percussion :)
- cuisine chilienne (quelques recettes) mais j'adore cuisiner de manière générale, encore plus quand ce n'est pas que pour moi !
- informatique... :D étant donné que c'est une de mes passions, je peux t'apprendre 2-3 bricoles utiles ;)
- bricoler
- bases de photographie avec réflexe numérique, tout en mode manuel... Je fais de la photo de concert depuis 3 années :)
- si tu comptes emménager en Suisse, plein de conseils, d'ordre informatifs ou même juridiques.

Apprendre :

à connaître mon interlocuteur de manière générale car on ne peut résumer la richesse intérieure d'une personne en quelques mots :) J'aime les cultures et les horizons différents du mien et ce que j'apprécie aussi tient en un seul mot : respect :)

Edit : currently not much :) moved out of Fribourg (to Vaulruz), settled down with my girlfriend, and parents since October 2020 :) So CS hosting currently on standby

If I am free, some sightseeing, if there's a jam session whilst my guest is around, attending to it as public or why not ;) as musician. I like to cook, so share a meal (and its recipe) and wine (you're free to participate to lunch fees ;) ), make a walk, take photos (I love photography, lately I bought a Canon EOS 700D and starting to use it intensively ! :D )

As I'm volunteering in a few places of Fribourg as photographer most of the time and sometimes as a cook, I can take you for free to some concerts of the "Nouveau Monde".

I'm organising and also attending a lot of "Jam sessions" (music improvisation) or "Open stages" (basically covers or own songs, but either way, LIVE music !)

I've heard once that musicians touch your soul with their good vibes... and I totally agree ! Music has no boundaries... gathers people together... and last but not the least : Music tames the savage beast ! ;)
