I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada though I have lived in Dubai for the last 5 years. I have always considered myself a "citizen of the world." and have an unquenchable thirst for adventure with the entire world on my bucket list. I lust for places I have yet to see and yearn to hear the tales of the people who call it “home.”

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to spend an extended period of time in each place I visit (at least 3 weeks) to allow myself to be immersed in the customs, seek out the best local bites, delve into the history, and mingle with the people. To me, traveling is more than just checking off an item on a list, but a gateway into another culture. A glimpse only a local, not a guide book, is able to provide.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am an avid reader and always have my Kindle or a book in my bag.
It quite a task to narrow down my favorite titles but I'd have to say The Alchemist, To Kill A Mockingbird, and any Lonely Planet book is near the top of the list.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Stood atop The Great Wall of China,
Peered over the edge of The Grand Canyon,
Sailed around the islets of Ha Long Bay,
Witnessed the wonder of the Great Migration,
Marveled at the awe-inspiring Colosseum,
Road the bullet train in Tokyo,
Crawled through tunnels at the DMZ,
Swam in the crystal waters of Sri Lanka
Explored the ancient city of Petra
and sun-baked in Seychelles

.... But there is still so much more to discover!
