About Me

Hola tú! I am Alejandra, or easier for the most of the people here "Ale". I am from the beautiful city of Bogota, Colombia, but I am currently living in Germany. I was for 2 months in Cologne and now it's been a year living in Munich (with some months living in Sweden during the pandemic)

I am doing an exchange semester in the "Techninal University of Munich" and hopefully I will also do an internship here too.
In Munich, I live in a Student dorm called "Olympia Dorf" named after the Olympic Games of 1972, which had place in the Olympic Park next to my house, so the area is really nice.

Regarding me... I think I might be one of the most curious person you will ever meet, I am also quite extroverted and active, so I am always looking to try new activities, to get new knowledge, to travel to new places. BUT PARTICULARLY I looveee: dancing bachata, doing karaoke, doing artistic stuff, learning new languages, tech nerdy stuff and swimming in rivers and lakes.

Currently, I am getting more and more engaged with world environmental problems and sustainability because I truly believe that in order to save our home, we need to act right now and change must start from myself.

Finally: Most of the time you will see me smiling, I tend to get easily happy with the simplest things: looking at the sky and the dancing clouds or feeling the grass under my feet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I consider this year to be the best of my life, I have never been in Europe before and now that I finally made it, I want to enjoy every single second of my abroad experience.
I find it unbelievable how different is the world outside my country, I am fascinated with every city and culture I've got to go or meet.
In the middle of this, I discovered CouchSurfing, and so far I have done it only 5 times but all of them were great! I just love to get to know the place through its people and make friends all around the world.
