Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the concept and idea of couchsurfing and am fascinated by the world's different cultures and traditions. I'm a language enthusiast and always love to find out new things about different places and people. Couchsurfing seems like a great opportunity to meet new interesting people and share stories, traditions and experiences with them.

I’m more than happy to wander around together (especially in nature), go on hikes or trips together, meet up and grab a tea/coffee or do a photo shoot with you to capture some long lasting memories digitally - so if you're interested just send me a message. (:

Music, Movies, and Books

Mainly listening to Brazilian music at the moment (especially Forró and BaianaSystem) and currently on the hunt for some good yoga books (recommendations welcome :D). My favourite movie of all time will probably have to be Into the Wild. My newest favourite series? A Typical. If you haven't seen it yet I highly recommend it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living abroad is something that enriched my life like nothing else and dancing on the stage in front of a big crowd has always been an incredible feeling that I will never forget. And since I’m awful at narrowing it down to just one amazing thing, I’ll probably add to this list from time to time :D

2016: Stayed on top of a mountain until 3am in Bergen, Norway.
2017: worked as a camera intern and background extra at the TV show Vikings
2018: Travelled to Brazil for 3 weeks which was the most exotic travel experience ever - such a wonderful county!
2019: Started dancing forró and travelled more than ever in my life before
2020: 3 month backpacking trip around Brazil

I could teach you some German or English, forró, about photography, introduce you to new foods, authors, musicians/bands and share my inspiration and passion about travelling with you.

I'm always eager for brainfood and love to learn/try (almost) everything.
