Hello!

I'm Marcelo, from Itabira - MG - Brazil. I study environmental engineering at the Federal University of Itajubá. It's my first time in the United States so first time at CIC as a Challenge Instructor.

I'm 21 years old, vegetarian, I love cooking and creating recipes.

I'm also addicted to practicing sports. Every week I ride my bike on my way to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training, sometimes I play Futsal with my friends, go to the swimming club, play a match of peteca (shuttlecock), hike and bike into trails and environmental areas and take every opportunity to spend my energy.

I also find relaxation and have fun while I'm playing music. I can play 6 instruments: guitar (mainly), piano, cavaco, pandeiro, bass, and drums.

I trust that we'll exchange experiences, stories and teach each other things that neither of us know. In addition, we'll make this summer camp an unforgettable experience for the campers.
